Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using finbees.pro or engaging Finbees for bookkeeping services. By accessing the website or instructing us to carry out work, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Finbees

Finbees provides bookkeeping, financial reporting, and related services to small businesses and SaaS startups primarily in the UK and US. References to "Finbees", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to the Finbees business and its operator.

2. Scope of Services

The specific services to be provided will be agreed in writing (by email or a separate engagement letter) before work commences. Services may include, but are not limited to:

• Monthly bookkeeping and bank reconciliation
• Multi-currency transaction management
• Software setup and migration
• Management reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

Finbees provides bookkeeping services only and does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or regulated financial advice. You should engage a qualified accountant, tax adviser, or solicitor for those matters.

3. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to deliver accurate, timely work, you agree to:

• Provide access to the relevant accounting software, bank feeds, and documents in a timely manner.
• Ensure that information and documents you supply are accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• Notify us promptly of any material changes to your business structure, transactions, or requirements.
• Review and approve draft reports or reconciliations within any agreed timeframes.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees will be agreed before work begins and set out in your engagement agreement. Unless otherwise agreed:

• Invoices are issued monthly and payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
• Late payments may incur a late payment charge in accordance with applicable law.
• We reserve the right to pause work if invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep the other's confidential information strictly confidential and not to disclose it to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law or regulation. This obligation survives termination of the engagement.

6. Intellectual Property

All reports, templates, and deliverables produced specifically for you under the engagement are your property upon receipt of full payment. Any proprietary tools, processes, or templates owned by Finbees prior to the engagement remain our property.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability to you arising from or in connection with the services will not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data.
• We are not liable for errors arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information provided by you.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement by giving 30 days' written notice. We reserve the right to terminate immediately if:

• Payment obligations are not met after reasonable notice.
• You act in a way that makes it unreasonable for us to continue providing services.

Upon termination, you will be invoiced for work completed up to the termination date.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at finbees.pro/terms-of-service.html. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
